I bought the FS9 727 many moons ago before FSX came into the equation.

The exterior detailing was excellent, but I was rather dissapointed with the rest of it, especially the flight dynamics and sounds. Which were dire.

As usual with Cap sim products. Screenies always look good but occasionally parts of the product are'nt so nice.

Kind of like a mustard filled apple pie.

I ve just been over at Captain sin's site and they have realeased the 727pro pack. But if you have a nervious disposition or a dicky ticker dont bother because its 1cent shy of 60euros. There are words that currently come to mind about their pricing, but i dare not print them here.

As far as exterior model goes the HJG one looks just as good to me. But then I'm not overly arsed about VC's in the big props or jets. Different in GA or Fighters of course.

Hopefully, Captain Sim will have another 24-hour sale at some point, in which case I'll get it. Until then, other add-ons take priority.

I still think you mad for not flying this..... I could come up with 1001 excuses why this is the best 727 ever made for FS9.
I've even stuck the friendly panels 737-400 FMC into my Flightdecks

Ah bless you Ben  It's all down to economics vs use mate. I knew when I bought the Dreamfleet model that the chances of me flying it would be scarcer than a good day in politics for the Labour government but eventually, I cracked and bought it. Of course.. I've probably flown it twice.. maybe 3 times. I actually looked at it yesterday for the first time in probably a year and I have it as AI over at Peter McLelands airfield in Alaska. If the CS version is anything like their 707, I'm sure it's great but I don't fly the 707 either  As you can tell.. I was easily parted from my money once upon a time. Fortunately, this no longer applies ;-)
