Most certainly a classic and once in service with the FAA. Comes in at £23 with the current exchange rate.

Very very quick review as I'm supposed to be working, but the textures look incredibly sharp and crisp, very realistic. The VC is smooth and nicely lit at night, flight dynamics are a lot of fun and the sound package is one of the best I've heard for a warbird. The external droptank, rockets and bombs can all be removed by changing the weight/quantities as with the Skysim Hawk and all in all it certainly looks like a keeper at first glance.

Can't believe there hasn't been more interest in this one, it's an absolute gem with some nice British colour schemes.

Anyway, it's been updated with a major service pack that fixes a whole host of bugs and also adds the option to manage the engine properly in flight as well.

Re-download the main file, it's been updated to the latest version.

A fat pig??? Our local pigs will be disgusted with that comparison

No.. I love the aircraft but not enough to buy one. Now.. if RealAir make a Wildcat.. I doubt I could resist for long ;-)

I agree 100%. Wildcats were embarked on my father\s escort carrier and that'd make one a must for me. And yes I do have the 'outhouse version

Same here really; I think its a terrific aircraft, and love seeing the TFC one fly at Duxford...but it doesn't really interest me in FS. Looking forward to the day the MAAM Avenger for FSX is released. Thats more my sort of Grumman. :)
