DH Comet in the Science Museum
Jens Christensen's Comet 1, is a sim I have been wanting for a considerable period of time. I was in the Science Museum a few weeks ago ( haven't visited London for about 15 years), and was amazed to see the section of BOAC Comet 1 Yoke Peter that failed and brought it down. It was in the Dan Dare display, with some other aviation artifacts, quite good really. I found the Aviation section of the museum to be quite disappointing. It is really an excellent collection, of aircraft, and engines, but poorly displayed, and they just don't seem interested anymore. The book shop was better lit! What a contrast to the Graham-White collection at the RAF museum, which is beautifully displayed.

They also have a collection at Wroughton but you wouold hardly know it as it seems to be rarely open :-(
I think they still call that their store but there seems little point in saving stuff and then storing it mostly out of sight.
So perhaps they don't really have their heart in it
The nose of Comet 1A G-ANAV used to be in London but that moved to Wroughton
