Thing of beauty either way

Anyone shed some light on the Marconi style DF aerial?

Not much Leif. It's definately a DF loop but there's little way of telling why or when this was fitted.

Illustrations in the Finish Blenheim Mk.1 manual show that style of DF loop, so I assume that it is a standard fitting.
