OMG I have flown it........!!!!

Post by fmansam »

Hi gents

Waddington airshow is over, BUT....i had the massive pleasure of meeting the lads in the SKY-SIM tent, after having a good gossip with them on Saturday i was dying to get my hands on the Hawk, which they had running on their PC, trouble was, in between the public playing on it, and me running off to take pictures of the Vulcan and lancaster in formation, then my alerter going off..(was on duty for the fire service) and me running away... i never got the chance to fly or say goodbye....

so i blagged some time off today to go say hi again....
i also had a quick 3 or 4 min flight...and yes in the Soon to be released Hawk....it was of course a BETA model,, but oh My God, what a delite...
i swear i cannot find the words to describe it...., amazing.....oh um and then :$ :$ :o , i crashed it by overstressing the airframe...lol
there was me trying to impress the Skysim boys, and show off to the public, i bloody well crash, however, the little clinch got me all excited and even more eager to get this amazing model,

I have bored you now, i will end by saying, many many thanks to the lads, for their time, and Ladies and gents, this in my humble opinion, will be the best release, payware or freeware, for any flightsim series todate.

get that money ready, its a doozie... :drinkers: :welldone: :prayer: :prayer:

It looks like the SkySim site will have it for sale soon.
I tried to get it this morning.
There is a Hawk page there now, but it says:
THIS PRODUCT IS NOT LIVE PLEASE NOT NOT PURCHASE UNTIL THIS WARNING HAS BEEN REMOVED.

I got this email when I tried to purchase (did not see the warning cos' was too eager).

Hi Mark

We are just in the process of prepping the site for the Hawk download. This should be completed in the next 4 hours or so. Until then I am going to refund your payment so you can purchase again when the Hawk is ready.
Kind regards

Hi Arni

Yes hopefully it will be on sale sometime today

an extra week of tension has taken it's toll on my already frayed whit's end :$

it's got that bad that Samaritans now ring me!

i now have 1500 plus safe Hawk landings in all weathers so i hope it's a reasonable Hawklike Experience
given the huge amount of data gathered to get it as close as permissable. :worried:

Regards
Rick

Hi Rick.

I does seem that this latest release of yours is eagerly awaited.
The screenshots look fantastic. Just want to fly it.
My updated VFR GEN-X V2 Scenery arrived today (all 12 DVD's of it), but I am going to hold off that update until I get the Hawk installed and have a thrash about. I seem to remember spending a whole day installing VFR scenery when I bought it. (Well worth it though).

I still use your HS748 (XS 605 - cos' I used to work on that one) around the Benson circuit, and the brilliant VC-10.
Also use the AlphaSim Hunter quite a lot between St Athan and Valley, but I reckon the Hawk will be making that redundant now.

Indeed it is a 780.
But I had to used the 748 flight model. It works for me anyhow.
