Raptor to be seen at Tattoo

FYI: a single Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor will perform at the Royal International Air Tattoo on July 12 and 13 at RAF Fairford, in Gloucestershire, England.

There's an "awesome vid" of the F22's first display on June 20th at Langley AFB on the official site here http://www.f22-raptor.com/index.html (WMV 15Mb).

Fairford will be it's third display and Farnborough the fourth.

The RIAT site now says that the Vulcan is confirmed as part of the flying display and static on both days.

Sorry folks having seen a Raptor and a Lightning 2 sitting side be side at Nellis last November the is NOT resemblance other than than the use of radar deflection angling - they look totally different

Oh yes - watched a flight of 4 Raptors do an overhead break on Tuesday at Dobbins ARB (where they are built) pretty damn awsome as Tag says

Both birds are primarily from chez Lockheed-Martin along with other partners. This is just a generalization, since multiple partners are involved in both programs :flying:
