Shuttle De-orbit Burn...

Yeah, that cover was certainly whistling along at a pace...Would have killed anyone in the way. I didn't see any crew along its path though. It stopped near some piece of kit on the far side of the runway.

the piece of kit was one of those bloody great eight wheel crash trucks

Yes, so it is Leif...Can't quite make out whether it stopped the cover, or whether the cover dug into the ground and stopped itself
