Trees and buildings on airfields!!

Post by hobby »

Can someone please tell me why I seem to have trees and buildings growing on some of my FS9 airfields, many of these trees and buildings are on taxiways and parking areas. Not every airfield is affected thus but I am having problems at RAF Kinloss, Dusseldorf and some other airfields in NW Europe!

My scenery settings are set to 'dense'. I am also running Roads and Rivers Europe and FSGlobal. I do have a great deal of 'Addon scenery.'

Hobby..

I had this odd phenomina at Brussels Main (EBBR) and ONLY at Brussels. Wish I could remember how the hell I got rid of it :brick: Got a feeling it was a corrupt/duplicated entry in the scenery.cfg file. Fortunately.. the forrestry didn't spread throughout Europe :worried:

Try moving those sceneries higher in the list (towards the top) to give them higher priority. Sometimes that's all it takes to solve the problem.

For Tarasdad:

I spent some hours yesterday (Tuesday) re-arranging the order of my scenery in the FS9 Scenery file, alas to no avail. I really do not want to un-install and re-install Fs9 because I have a tremendous number of addons and supplementary scenery.

I shall have a look for duplicate entries in the scenery cfg file this afternoon.

Many thanks for your suggestion regarding the re-ordering of the scenery.

Hi Hobby

You can always turn them off one at a time and see it that produces a result eventually

Yo Garry :)

The pain in the butt with some of these errors is that they won't go away. My trees at EBBR started when I loaded Toby's 'Teamco' package. He obviously didn't see a problem so I installed it on a different pc and got trees there too :o The final kicking of sand in the face came when I uninstalled Teamco and the buildings went but the trees remained :o :brick: Let me see if I still see it on this old dog..

EDIT..
There you go..

I was having the same problem with CDG yesterday. Turned out to be some exclude files from a retro version of Le Bourget. Renamed those and everything was back to normal.
