I've just built a new computer but when I try and install vista on it, the first and second loading page runs ok but when it gets to a sort of blue background the whole thing hangs and I have no option but to reboot. No options or anything is displayed. Anybody had this problem? and if you did how did you manage to get around it? Its a full OEM version of Ultimate 64bit. My machine specs are:
Intel Q9450 quad-core, Gigabyte GA-X38-DS4 Intel X38, 2x G.Skill 2GB DDR2 PC2-8500C5, BFG GeForce 9800 GTX and a Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB hdd.
Thanks in advance.

Heh, so far it seems just as quick if not quicker then my old xp. Granted it was an old installation though. I'm quite happy with it so far tbh.
XP actually booted first time dispite having 100% of the hardware changed, a swap of motherboard drivers and it was chugging along right as rain!
