Lovely pictures. I do like the aesthetics of the earlier comets over the later one for some reason. Perhaps because compared to its contemporaries in 1949-52 it must have looked very futuristic, whereas by 1958 with the advent of the 707, it already looked like something belonging to a previous generation, such was the rate of technical progress in the 1950s.
