Logging flights and simulating failures?

Post by Quixoticish »

I've been tinkering with FS Passenger and while I love what it represents I rarely fly heavies or even anything that is suited for passengers or cargo so I've had to sadly uninstall it as it just didn't suit with my style of flying. Does anyone know of any software that will log flight details properly and in a bit more depth than the default FS logbook, and also have a module that will simulate aircraft decay and failures over time? I ask in this forum section because I assume such a program will be payware however if anyone knows of any good freeware alternatives please fire away.

There are several free ware logging facilities available on Avsim/flightsim. Haven't tried any of them but there are some of various details. do a search on eg. logging and something will pop up. I do not think it is worth spending money on such an utility, but anyone to his own ;-)

here are some from AVSIM:

FS9:
flight_log.zip
fsm285.zip
fst19.zip

FSX:
logbookedit-0411062225.zip

Any:
etavlogbook.zip
plogger3_1.zip
navlog.zip
