RAF Log Book

Post by northantsflyer »

Hello all

My nan recently passed away and I have inherited my late Grandads RAF log book. He was a tail gunner in Wellingtons and Ansons. It seem he spend a lot of time early in the war at RAF Castle Kennedy and wondered if anyone could shed any light on that RAF field, looks to me as if it were some sort of air gunnery training school ?? Is is represented in flight sim ?

Thanks
Scott.
Kindest Regards

Here's a fairly nice link NHF.. http://www.secretscotland.org.uk/index. ... tleKennedy

Oddly enough, although listed at controltowers.co.uk.. there's little or no info on it there!

Hi Dave,

You just found a few more routes for the VA Bristol 170's when we get them. :) Just need the airfield in FS9/FSX.
