Just a thought...

Post by Pringle »

I have noticed whilst browsing around the gallery forum in the last few weeks that a few common questions appear.

'What model is that?'
'What scenery is that?'
'What paint scheme is that?

So how about organising a template post to follow when posting the pics? At the bottom or the top of the post just a quick snippet saying the model, paint scheme and scenery. Would save a few questions that seem to reoccur?

A lot of those questions have been asked on posts where the model or scenary whatever have been clearly stated in the original post.

Some folks just ask without reading the post through.

I think that Pringles suggestion is very valid. If it is implemented could the links be properly named rather than using jargon. I still do not understand what "All Nodes" means.

To keep this site going you need to keep newcomers interested otherwise you will finish up like the RAFA and British Legion - a dying breed.

Cheers

Hi Chaps,

It is a great idea, and one that we will impliment in some format. Its easier to do in the gallery than in the forum though, so that might make things a bit more tricky in terms of using a template. ;-)

You could just make it a matter of protocol. "When posting screen shots please include details etc................"

Cheers
