Viscount Retrieval

Post by TSR2 »

Just noticed there is still a fair bit of kit lying around the US. When I get back to blighty I'd like to brink a Viscount, G-BFYZ, back from JFK.

I plan to take one of the standards over, I'll park it up, bring the Viscount back and then get a flight back to pick up the VC10.

Could someone knock me up a flight plan, the same as the last 748 one will do.

Ta much.

Oh... before I forget, could one of our regular Viscount fliers give me a list of the latest files for the panel etc. I haven't flown the Viscount since I installed FSX :$ and the files I have are the originals from ricks site years ago.

Cheers

Hi Ben,

Latest Viscount 700 panel files at flightsim.com V4.

Only adjustment required over and above those in the readme is to correct the fuel flow scalar to 0.822.

cheers

Fraser

Ben..

We have 700's scattered all over the place mate after we sold the first lot then went and bought some more after Fraser had made a panel for it :cpu: The reason they've not been brought back is (as far as I'm aware) there are no routes for them yet :o We had a lot of 'irons in the fire' at the time (the oil rigs being one) and I don't think John wrote anything up for the little tinkers.
