DC-3 TO HAMBURG AIRSHOW

Post by Tom Everitt AFG »

Hi all

We still have some seats left on the DC-3 flying to Hamburg Airport for the airshow this coming weekend.

This promises to be one of the highlights of this years airshow calendar with the largest gathering of DC-3's seen in recent times and a record breaking formation featuring over 20 aircraft, including our own DC-6, G-APSA, resplendent in her new KLM colour scheme and our Avro Anson, a late addition to the line up. Also present will be the very latest in modern aviation technology, including the Airbus A380.

Not only will you enjoy the spectacle of the show at Hamburg, but the outbound flight on Friday will stop over at Lelystad where all passengers will be given free access to the fantastic Avidrome museum. After a spot of lunch, the flight will continue onto Hamburg but now together with the DC-6, Anson, DC-3 N1944A, a third DC-3 and the DC-2. Your arrival at Hamburg promises to be almost as spectacular as the show itself!

The cost of the return flights is £330 per person. Unfortunately as we are not an ATOL travel agent we cannot book hotel rooms direct but we have negotiated special rates with the show organisers just for our passengers.

This is the first, and quite possibly the last, opportunity to fly a long distance DC-3 flight for quite some time, so don't miss out!

More info can be found on our website, http://www.classicflight.com, or give us a call in the office on 08703 304 747.

Tom.

Love to, but having recently procured a new fridge (not quite as exciting, but more expensive...) which is being delivered this weekend, one is stumped!

I am glad to see serving officers have their priorities correct, I bet it is one of those big US style ones with an external cool drinks dispenser too :o
I would love to go Tom, however getting to the start place is not as easy as it was :'(

I wish. That was the plan, but our kitchen space in the "lovely new"* house is a little limited... :bandit: So unless it went in the living room... :brick:

*niceish inside, shame about the exterior... :o :yipeee:

That is the best way, how much time do you ever spend on the outside of your house looking at it! The same should be said for cars too, but I find it hard not to want a nice looking car, whatever the interior is like
