The gauges are from the TU-124, but are not included, so you have to download that as well. It says so in the read-me and the PDF files. He also says that the sounds are not included, but you will have them anyway.... you do have Dave's Hunters, don't you?
I guess this is a prime case of RTFM for me!
I aliased the sound to the Tu-124 (which I already had installed...maybe not entirely realistic, but I love those startup sounds), and already copied the gauges to my main FS gauge directory. All is well.

Dave's Hunters, eh? Never heard of 'em. Are they any good?
I am guessing, as I gave up downloading this one, but Soviet aircraft normally just have a castering nose wheel. Without differential brakes, this may not animate. Also the nose (tail in DF) wheel lock may be on.....or it could be a fault in the model
Another new model of the Il-28 from the same author just popped up on Avsim. This time it's a T model...and with a pretty impressive VC, too (at least judging by the screenshots....d/l now...)

EDIT: Just played around with it a bit. I love the VC. The modeler states in the manual that it's a generic VC, and not a facsimile of a real 'Beagle' cockpit. Regardless, it looks nice and functions well....and everything is clickable.
