just done two flights with the comet and both shows a negative income. the first i thought i was wrong with the figures but the second, i don't think so. i bought 11000kg of fuel to go with my 5000kg onboard and used 13000kg and still got dinged for fuel cost.
has the fuel/ pax figures changed since i last flew the comet around the northern europe routes last year. at this rate i will scrap my intended flight schedule and return back to blighty. i hate costing the company money.
thats unless there is something wrong with my aircraft confg and its programed to be gready.

Hi Dave,
The Comet no longer generates any revenue from cargo due to the MZFW limitation. There is plenty of cash in the kitty to continue your route/s. Careful fuel purchasing is necessary now taking into consideration the differing prices at airports. The only other thing I can suggest is try a higher cruising altitude and maybe reduce power for a long range cruise to see if you can reduce the fuel burn any. Fun isn't it
.

thanks for the heads up on the comet problem. i knew i was seeing something not right with my fuel figures. ok i'll bunker at the lower price fuel stops and try to get two or three legs with no fuel. i was trying to keep within the specs as given in the notes. ie 30,000ft operating height and .72mac for speed.
so your back off you holidays?
