That looks superb, but why go to all that trouble to make a fictitious airfield when there are so many real airfields needed for FS?

Good point Dave, where is it located? Would have been nice to locate in place of a famous B of B airfield, no longer with us. A sort of 'what if' project.

is is ficticous, as we at UKMIL wanted our own airfiled, to fly from on our online server. it is based just north of newcastle, in Northumberland.

We are very busy creating REAL airfields too, but they are still being progressed. we currently have RAF Leuchars, and RAF Coningsby in progress, which will be better than what you see above, as we now have merged with the old UKSD team, who created some great previous sceneries such as cranwell, and Linton etc

as for the older fields, we also have one in the works, but is some months off, but it will use the UKMIL AI Lightning, so that is a clue

I have recently downloaded the (really) excellent MAIW RAF Coningsby & thay will take some beating (payware included).

I was having a world tour (in the UK :worried: ) with Google Earth, last night, & happened on RAF St Athan. That is a nice little site.....just waiting for a proper scenery.

Would also give us military pilots (FS only) some where to take the VC-10 for scrapping :crying:

If you use Google Earth & visit St. Athan you will find the real thing parked ouside one of the hangers in the NW corner.

As for scenery.....we are grateful for anything you offer.

Well Binbrook has been covered by both Alphasim and Steve Anderson; Steve also covered a good number of other airfields, pretty sure St Athan was one of them.

He's currently updating them for better fps, and also FS X compatibility, info on the forums at his site.

Pretty sure St.Athan was done by UK2000 as well, but like Mr. Anderson, they're not FSX yet.
