fs9 patch

Hi gents...any ideas please as to why i get as far as AI PLAYR.DLL when installing the fs9 patch and it just freezes and informs that fs9.1 cannot be succesfully installed?Many thanks.

If you mean the FS9.1 update, then it insists on certain original files being there and will not accept replacements that might have been put in by an add-on.

It is complaining about that .dll file and you should replace it by extracting the original from the FS9 CDs...It will then proceed further till it finds another one to object to...You must then replace that and so on.

It is dead easy to install with a virgin installed FS9 but then you would have to go through the mill of re-installing all your add-ons :smile:

2pac..if by any chance you're using an unofficial 'no-CD' 'patch' then the update won't install..

You'll need to install the original .exe file.

Good afternoon DelP...i'm using a legitimate fs9 package,any chance you or anyone else could email the AI PLAYR DLL please?

If your install is legitimate, you should just follow Peters advice ... :wink:
