Hi Jon,
JohnP posted my FSNav settings for the Dove somewhere here but here are the pwr settings I use..
Takeoff 3000/+7.5 72gph/200kgh
2800/+6 in the climb if required but I normally go to..
2600/+4 53gph/146kgh
Cruise 2400/+2 42gph/115kgh
Cruise alt 5000ft
Climb and descent 700fpm
RPM back to 3000 in descent as required (this will slow your descent speed).
Hope this helps

Jon..
I have a little more time now and notice I missed a couple of things off.
As for what speeds to use..
Like a lot of piston props, you go with what you can get. The Dove will start to be ready to takeoff at around 85kts with just a gentle pull back on the stick. Let your speed rise to around 120kts once clean (gear/flaps up) then start looking for your climb pwr. You CAN use 2800/+6 if you wish to climb like a rocket but 2600/+4 is more than adequate.
Approaching 5000ft, back off to 2400/+4 where she'll creep up to 160kts. If a higher airspeed is required, 2400/+4 will translate to around 170kts at 1500ft
Descent..
Boost back to around -2 and at 700fpm, she'll scrub off speed nicely. As you approach your landing phase.. rpm to 3000 and leave the boost as is. At 120kts (flap limiting speed) select first flap and settle for landing. For finals.. gear down and full flap.. speed around 90kts. Watch for the aircraft ballooning and be ready with the trim. TD.. around 75-80kts
Sri my burn figures are in gallons/kgh but these are the only two measurements I use

Hi John
As with all unpressurised aircraft.. look at below FL100 for a decent cruise even though her service ceiling is much higher
I'll have to have a look at Gatwick to Teeside for you but off the top of my head, there's no direct route (you probably know this already hence the question)
EDIT..
OK John.. most direct routing is EGKK-EGLL.. EGLL-EGNX.. EGNX-EGNV.. 3 flights in total
