Weird lighting effect

Post by SkippyBing »

Has anyone got any idea how to cure the rather odd effect seen in this screen shot? It's as if the normals have been flipped, but they haven't. Worst case I'm going to have to rebuild the rudder which is a bit of a pain!

Hi Skippy

you just need to use smoothing groups on the rudder.

too many right angles for the default group to handle.

might be easier to remove all smothhing from the rudder.

Rick
