Just noticed a new Vampire at FSFrance. Not sure how correct it is, but it sure is fun! http://www.fsfrance.com/

Just downloaded it for a go and yes, it is fun.

I'm no expert when it comes to giving a verdict on aircraft or the handling qualities but here goes:

Very positive on the controls but can be over-done when doing aerobatics very nearly lost control on one occassion when performing low altitude.

Panel photo-realistic but no side views, three positions for seat when flying - full IFR panel - partial IFR panel for take-off / landing view with instruments situated lower down.

For free-ware it is very good but no doubt some-one will give a better comparison to the payware version.

See below:

Just flew it - Its nice - I sort of added some Goblin sounds to it from "elsewhere" Im waiting for Peter Mc to show up - it seems awfully fussy
specifically in pitch and its a little bugger to slow down - It doesnt look bad -not sure about the nose shape but as I said Ill wait to hear - it does have that early jet flat climb out like the Meteor, and does use a lot of throttle
on the approach - I read the comment Peter made about the flaps elsewhere
they dont seem very effective on the model.....Not dissing it - its very nice
and a joy to fly once I had added what i felt was a better sound file - it will stay in the hangar until something better comes along

Makes a nice addition to Alphas Meatbox F8 and Trainer and Ricks Meteor T7

:)

Leif

But thats just my opinion

not painted any yet, and indeed, have struggled to find any good reference material for single seaters, as most tend to be twins, so if anyone has any good pics, show them here

Please note: by "In hand" for UKmil does not mean available now. I am sure that it won't be long before UKmil have repaints available.
