Thanks for the comments Peter, was going to try and do a roll under the bridge but chickened out!!
Got it from Hovercontrol Helicopter Flight Simulation - all free - go to Files and Media then to all File Downloads then Add-Ons Helicopters FS9 go to page 14 look for Bell_205_LCSD by Terry Hansen. Not much in the way of switches it is more or less jump in and fly but very stable, will be downloading some more of their helicopters in the near future when I have more time.
Regards
Nigel.

Oh dear. I've been hounded out of town by the locals before I've seen everything! And I adore smoked salmon. Where do I find that smokehouse, Nigel? I might become a regular once I'm allowed back
I've been making my mark on Anchorage this morning with some new airport scenery and AI. Right next door to the airport is Lake Hood strip and seaplane base - allegedly the busiest in the world. I once walked a trail under the flight path and they were coming in every three or four minutes! But trying to recreate it in FS is a bit difficult as I can only find two suitable AI seaplanes. Ooooh look - a Beaver! Oooooh look - another Beaver!
All this talk of Alaska has got me all twitchy. I think I might have to take cyberbrat to have a look at the northern lights. I can fly BA to Seattle and Alaska Airlines to Anchorage. But Alaska is certainly not cheap once you get there so I might have to sell the cats for vivisection to pay for it :-( The fare from PANC to PAJN is $250 each one way! A half-day whale watching tour is $150.

Ian
There is a rather nice little program at avsim (I believe) for building AI waterfowl traffic (sic) and there is also "Ga Traffic" which amongst other things will convert any aircraft to AI (the Rearsby Austers I converted down to AI traffic and they work wonderfully.
I have several AI seaplanes -- Including the Norseman , Widegeon , and even Peter Larkhams Sealand boiled down to
AI simplicity - The water runway at Juneau in my world gets a little busy at times. Oh yes and The HTAI Cessna's
on floats - 185,206,170,even have a Birddog on floats - which is rather fun to fly.

Never mind Echo the Hunter.... I found this little beauty when I went for the Bell 205...
The Sikorksy S4B hoverfly...... wheeled or float version in one......
Note the highly convenient ID letter
And there's a 'hoist' version for when Echo is dealing with 'odds and ends'
A lovely little Helo for pottering around in :flying:

Leif - thanks very much for those tips re AI GA floatplane traffic. The HTAI package looks excellent and I'll be checking out the programs you mentioned as well over the next few days.
Cheers, mate
Ian

I made the Traffic at Lake Hood for the scenery "Alaska Cinematic" and it works very well...I could probably let you have the AFCAD. I got a lot of Floatplane traffic using the lake and much GA on Lake Hood Strip...However, I could not approach the Real Life situation seen here:-

Look very closely at this picture and be amazed!
