The rest of the paints have been released on AVSIM. I think I'm correct in saying a paint kit will also be released in time...

yes, i have seen the paints, but they ALL use the RED ARROWS hawk model. I have seen other models on here with AIM's etc, but the current release does not include that?

No they don't... If you remove the dye pod, you'll find it switches the Red's model off. ;-)

RTFM

why have 10 models when you can have one that is controlled by what you load via the fuel & loading screen.

and then you even get the weight of what you loaded.

It's all in the manual that you got when you bought the Hawk

Rick

you get

in the release all 10 2008 Red Arrows in both seats (20 to choose from for Virtual Reds type groups)

each VC has over 250 animations (lots are visibility and warning lamps on the Fully funtional CWP)
and almost every switch works.
(i think 4 are non funtional purely because there are no more animatin tags available as 270 is the FSX SP2A limit)
95% of the Gauges and radios are full 3 d animated models that function as correctly as possible within the bounds if FSX

3 colours of smoke without having to keep changing the aircraft.cfg.

in the views i am reading far more than you would expect for the cost.

then

you get a choice or combination of

Aden Cannon Pod (adds GGS Gyro Gunsight in both VCs)
Smoke pod (adds smoke pipes and VC smoke controls in front seat)
inner Pylons
CBLS Mk.100 pods with droppable 3 kg practice bombs (in saved flights or mission) missions not included
SNEB rocket pods
AIM-9L sidewinders
AIM-9A4 Acquisition Rounds

only 1 model needed although i did split the front & Rear seat models as it offers far more animation tags and superior framerates on all machines.

Rick

Hello All

I'm new to this Forum, I joined because I bought Rick Piper's excellent Hawk package and hope to gain somne pointers as to it's flight envelope.

My question is, is it possible to create some sort of AI which allows the full team (Red Arrows D9) to take off and fly a series of formations, and then be able to switch seats(planes) with other members of the team, allowing you to then attempt to keep in formation with the others, am I asking too much too soon or being down right stupid.

I have no knowledge of how to create any AI packages so would have to rely on others much more advanced than me, I've only just successfully landed the damn thing, good job it restarts itself, but I'm having a great amount of pleasure trying it.

Many thanks to Rick Piper for a fantastic piece of workmanship, well worth £22.50
Best regards

Hi Chris and welcome to the forum ;-)

You're into areas I know very little about (even less in FSX) but hopefully, someone will be along to offer advice in the not too distant ;-)

Just a thought.. although this is Rick's official 'home'.. have you tried asking this question on the support forum over at Skysim??

That would be a good multi player subject :)

I've tried using the Hawk in the AI formation tool and thats hard enough. If you could do it through a series of aerobatic manouvers then you're in the wrong job (whatever you do!)

Seriously though I don't know of any tool capable of allowing this yet.
