garry is correct about the C - lot of people wind up with the right hand fin backwards as to the colours

Ian, to my mind the center colour on both versions doesnt look the way I remember them (and I drove past them a dozen times a day when I was a ramprat fro Dan Air - the other thing that seems to be missing is the fact the
ALL of Courts colours faded very quickly - Garry and I have had the sunfaded conversation before so he knows what Im talking about - the final thing was although Courtline washed the 1-11s frequently the 1011s were just to darn big so they were faded and dirty very quickly,

Leif,

OK, the idea was to see how good (or bad) a different rendition of the colours of the Court Tristar's was. More chance of someone picking the correct repaint colours that way, especially with Garry's colour examples.

ok the fix is being applied now...

and just to test the waters... any real interest in G-BAAC (Green which was partially painted but never completed at Palmdale) or G-BADD (Blue, planned)?

G-BAAC was a Cessna FRA.150L
G-BAAD was a Evans VP-1 both registered at the same time as TriStars G-BAAA and B....So I doubt that somehow.

Certainly those registrations were never issued to TriStars. No evidence of reservation either.

Blue was not a Court Colour or at least there were never any blue aircraft in the fleet

If there were to have been two more they would have followed with the missing two

Lilac
Forrest Green

The only other Court TriStar was the Eastern one that demonstrated in the UK with Court titles.

Hi Peter,

While not a great fan of the Court paints, that's a pretty good looking job you've done there

Peter
Having lived with those two brutes on the ramp at Luton - no offence but that looks much more protoypical - the one thing that always stood out was the cockpit windows - they always had that mutlicoloured oily sheen about them :)

Cheers

Hi Peter

Caledonian G-BBAE "Loch Earn" as i have flown more in that aircraft than any other aircraft full stop. (I know you have done one of her sisters) :worried:

I also painted it in real life once in my EGKK days.
when i actually got "painted in" on top of the fuselage at 4am

Regards
Rick
