And of course the Golden Speedbird

You can't see this but I'm now standing in the corner and will be sent to bed early today!

I only looked closely at one paint (Landor) and the finish was.. er.. less than perfect. I do think she'd have looked good in Landor.. that BEA Jack looked quite good too. Note that I only looked at the small pictures and my eyesight isn't 20/20 these days

Hi Dave

I don't like Landor at all  and on here like so often, they make the top whitish instead of the pearl grey it was..and really quite depressing in dull weather. :crying:

If you look at the Vanguard pics they have G-APEA in Flying Jack  which it never wore only one 951 wore that..(G-APED)

What always bothers me is some people take these to be real liveries :worried: and it makes the job of true history so hard :worried:

But what the heck

As Tonks says.....................

Hi Garry,

As I said, I only looked at one pic fullsize (the Landor) and the paint itself was.. let's say, not to the standard we expect here. That said, Landor is probably my fave BA paint and were a VC10 to be painted as such by one of our estemed members, I'm sure it would suit the 10 just fine. Anything that can make a 747 look vaguely attractive can't be all bad!!

I'm not into ficticious paints just for the sake of them but done right, I'm sure that some would look ok

Which AA are we talking about Dan?? Air Atlantique.. Air Anglia or the Automobile Association  Of course, you could mean Alc's Annon too :partyman:
