ah comon , at least tell me I was right about the guy on the farm tractor...

Yup as was mentioned George Aird lived to fly again (and still was in the 1990s on a 748 according to one post), with a broken leg. I imagine the Lightning didnt do so well. As for the tractor driver, well I guess he must have been used to aircraft coming and going, just not like that!

And even today a little patch of corn grows higher where the tractor stood....due to the extra manure the field recieved that day :roll:
