OK with the fuel trim and temp for sure
I will have to look at the torque but I didn't think I was comming up too quick.......sounds a bit sensitive
Garry
Garry- make sure you have turned on the Water-Methanol.

Hi John is this vital on the NAMC?

garry.
No this is not a vital part,it only needs to be used, when the runway is a bit tight for t/o length or if the runway alt is high, other wise a normal take off run is ok.If you fly from a major airport like ksea or rjaa, then no water methanol is needed, just keep the temps just below the red mark, with one notch of flap, and rotate at 90kt`s,at a rate of 500ft min.

Not vital as such, Garry, but I found that engines would die at around
16300 rpm if the W/M wasn't used.
Not sure how this matches with Alan's reply but that's how I found it
in version 1 - I haven't risked flying any other way with the latest
version.
Best wishes,
John

hi john.
Esa as modified the flight dynamics in the v2.7,and does not need as much power for the t/o run,it is only a slight mod,so it is hard to detect, but he also reduced the drag,to be more realistic over the v2.5.
But i found that the same princaple worked on both versions,i will have a look through my screenshots,to see if i took a pic at the settings i had,if i have not taken or kept a pic of this, then i will take one and post here,as a pic is easier to explain than words.

hi garry.
below some pics of the settings, used for a t/o at london city airport.
trimmer settings and control trim sttings prior t/o

throttle fuel levers settings for t/o

flap set to t/o pos 1 and engs first throttle setting to let engs settle

engs set to t/o power, then brakes off

rotation speed

500 ft min climb,u/c up/prop sync on & flaps up then climb at 1000ft min

all without water methanol, real weather downloaded every 15 min today, this airport will depending on weather conditions require water methanol some times.

Hi Alan
Thanks for this
That's pretty much what I
was using
I re downloaded the latest version and now I can't get the number two engine to even start
Trim etc was never a problem......just engines stopping
But fuel trimmer set and ease up on the power and the 2 always stopped half way through the run quickly followed by 1 and could only get one restarted.
No temp warning lights coming on not even full power and stopped on the runway............that was before so I re downloaded it and can't now even start it.......where I could before
I have never have engine failures in the other Darts so I don't know whats going on here.
I'll look into it later......but first I will delete the one I have the last reload only overwrote the existing in case there is something there bugging it.
On my last PC up to Feb last year I ran the NAMC a lot and never had a problem.
Thanks again for this.

hi garry.
It does sound like a corrupt file, make sure that the V2.7 is in a different aircrft folder,as it does conflict with the v2.5,i have both variants running with no problems within the same fs9,reason for this is not all of the paint schemes have been reworked to fit the v2.7 version.
I will get a screenshot of my folder set up,and you can see if that helps.
regards alan.

Cheers Alan
I'm sure something is goping on as I fly the 748 OK........used to fly this OK and I can't see that this happens as others would report it, and it would never have been releaed like that anyway....so the prob what ever it is.......... is here.
I only have the one but this one overwrote the old one which had a problem anyway.
So I'm thinkung get rid completely and then re install.
