I've always found the little doggys to be the nastiest, earlier today I was in a famers field trying to work out how to remove a ton and a half of metal from over his fence (don't ask...) and the farmer came over on his tractor with his massive rotweiler in tow.

It nearly licked me to death, was so friendly and spent ages fussing around us.

Likewise my German Sheppard would never hurt a fly let alone a human.

Yet my neighbours little Yorkshire Terrier has a right go anytime someone goes near it. It's a right nasty little monster.

Going by that Eddie, bet yours is as vicious as you can get...

You only have to look at the "Dead Hard" studded collar around her neck.

We used to have a Cairn Terrier, who spent most of his life hanging from the border collies neck....................now that was a vicious little b.

She's nuts mate. She does'nt seem to realise that she's tiny and wants to muck in with the big dogs in the park.

She's not particulary aggressive except when the post comes through the door at which point she becomes possessed and instantly turns all the letters into slushy mush in seconds. Great for the junk mail, not so great for the bills!

Size doesnt seem to bother animals. Of the two cats I posted earlier, the ginger one is the local 'boss', but the small black one (which is a female) can be very vicious and is always scrapping with other cats. There are two other larger black cats, one of which is a tom which also frequent our garden so all in all rather a lot of cats for not much 'territory'!

The afore-mentioned kitten grew up to be a right little madam, with bags of attitude. Three doors down from us had a rottweiler, damn near the size of a house, on a long chain in their back garden; madam worked out just how long the chain was, & used to take great delight in going into the garden and sitting just out of the rotties reach - it was a bit like the Tom & Jerry cartoons, where Tom draws a line in the sand!

I'm going to have a dig around in the morning to see if I can find any piccies of my various ex-moggies. The wife kept the house, I got custody of the cats.

Its strikes me as interesting that as a group we seem to have an
affection for rescued animals - and the dog/cat/fish theme seems
to run through - we share our house with -

Chase - a 'maybe" Wheaton Terrier" type - now almost three who
is tags dog - or Tag is Chases boy - I havnt figured out which - hes
slightly smaller and similar in colour it a golden lab when shaved -
and God help anyone who as much as looks at Tag wrong

Zobie and Kali , the two remaining cat peolple of a triad that live with us
Shai - the large ginger male sucumbed to liver cancer a year ago at age
14 - hes missed , he was a total charachter

Then Big Orange and Ugly Fish who live in the tank by tags door

All are consumate con artists and can get fed anytime they want
(usually twice in a row) by complaining to either Stace or myself that the
other human doesnt love them , abuses them , and hasnt fed them in
weeks (even the bloody fish do this)

Nice thread this - show we all have lives besides FS

His name is Rex (named by the RSPCA, not me!), came from Woodside RSPCA shelter in Leicester, which used to be featured on Pet Rescue.

Collie-Rottie cross - very intelligent but not to be trusted with kids. Badly abused and left in a caravan as a puppy
