Dave, Thanks for the info. on where to find the repaint.
Debug, The photo I use as my avatar is one I took of a chipmunk in the static park at this years Waddington airshow. Some wag had placed a missile under the wing as if it were about to be loaded which made me grin

. There's a good chance that it is indeed the same chipmunk as the one featured in your ATC newsletter, as I can’t imagine I was the only person to photograph it over the course of the weekend.

Nice shots Paul,
You have to hand it to Mr Flores....this particular repaint captures the wartime garb of the Halibag very well. I remember telling him so at the time when he first released it...in my opinion, the matt black has been especially well done as most re-paints are too 'black' to be convincing.
Gerry did say that he used more than one shade of black to acheive the desired result.....nice touch the 'vintage' shots too

Agree wholeheartedly with that Brian. The Halibag.. especially Fri13th was Gerry's finest hour
Pity he doesn't pop in these days though I think I've seen his BiL up on the odd occassion

DaveB, thanks for posting that file name. I should have included it at the start, knowing Alex was interested in it.
Thanks Bridon, and yes I agree its a nice skin. In fact its a heck of a nice plane to fly, if you get a Bristol Hercules sound set and sort out the radios and the tendency to nose over under braking. Its just a bit dated...but then, aren't we all.
Oh for an up-to-date Halifax, I'd buy it if it was payware ( he said, dropping huge hints to a certain modeler of this parish, who shall remain nameless but has just released a Mk 16 Spit! )
