Classic British Flight Sim

I had worked out a route from KORD->KJFK->CYQX(Gandor) ->BGBW (Narsarsuaq, Greendland) -> BIRK(Reykjavik, Iceland) -> EGSS.

I dont have my note with me at this moment as I am at work but I will work on this some more and make sure that the distances are correct for the 1-11-200.

Of course information on which airports airlines actually use as refueling stopovers on these types of flights would be welcome.

John, you can do what you want, but I don't agree with making ferry flights revenue flights.

Firstly it's not realistic (violates several air navigation and carriage laws, including the Bermuda II agreement), but also it's cheating in my book. When I ferried the CV-580s from Europe, we couldn't bid to fly cargo as well even though we were certified to fly cargo in 3 of the countries involved. Why should we (even though we're a VA) be doing something that a real world company can't and most other VA's won't do?

You wouldnt use BIRK -- But Kef - and Nassaraq has basically no approaches actually with a tail wind the 1-11 should make Goose - Kef
non stop . if you want real time routes Ill give them to you.

Baring in mind these little critters were built at Hurn... how did they get to the US in the first place, were BAC just checking their range.

Well, since CBFS VA started returning to service previously retired aircraft types the virtual enthusiasts of the world have been clamouring to fly in these fine machines. Our virtual charter brokers phones haven't stopped ringing with charter enquiries from all over the world. We have several enquiries from groups of passengers in the USA who wish to fly to the UK. We have dispensations from all relevant authorities to transit all countries en-route. All flights will have full cabin service and period uniforms will be worn by the crew.

I love the uniform.

The route I worked up last night was
KORD->KJFK 700 900 642nm
KJFK->CYYR 930 1230 934nm
CYYR->BIRF 1300 1900 1315nm
BIRF->EGCC 1930 2230 892nm

I tested the longest leg from goose to kef and had about 25% fuel remaining when I arrived so there should be no problem, as long as enough of our pilots are willing to do it.
