It's not proper BCal but as close as you'd get on a Tristar. They squeezed about 350 seats on that thing. It was ghastly

I also flew from London to Kano in 1976 on a BCal DC-10! ..... and my parents had a house in Little Shelford which is 4 miles outside of Cambridge!

Just another squawk from an old grump, while we're talking "favourites".....
Among my NOT favourites are: bird, kite, plane, airplane. A bit of respect, please, they're Aircraft.

And if you look in the background, that looks like the first A320 with a British airline... well, one of the first anyway. Who'd have thought they'd be as common as muck now
