Ben. I almost achieved both! I worked on Tristars for a couple of years based at LHR but due to aircraft shortages I worked this LGW based one a couple of times.

It's not proper BCal but as close as you'd get on a Tristar. They squeezed about 350 seats on that thing. It was ghastly :doh:

Just another squawk from an old grump, while we're talking "favourites".....
Among my NOT favourites are: bird, kite, plane, airplane. A bit of respect, please, they're Aircraft.

And if you look in the background, that looks like the first A320 with a British airline... well, one of the first anyway. Who'd have thought they'd be as common as muck now :lol:

Look beyond that and there's a 73' with what looks like the makings of Landors successor too :-O That can't be right can it?? Utopia didn't come in until '97 *-)
