Too early in the morning Garry

TBH, I'd probably struggle if I'd a pack of Airbus Top Trumps in front of me

Dave's livery is well done (something I couldn't do) - just not my particular cup of char in looks - nowt personal

Cheers Jim ;-) As it happens.. I quite like the A340 with it's classic, slender lines rather than the squat, wide-bodied look all the others have. It used to be easy in years past.. if it had winglets, it was a Scarebus. Now, everything has em

Re the VA fleet.. we actually picked the 300's up 'job lot' with a zillion other aircraft after Bob Jones sold his airline to us and joined us as a pilot (these included his Concorde fleet  ). The majority were sold on but the 741's and 300's were just classic enough (no glass cockpits) for us to keep. Most VA's don't like stuff that old so they'd have been difficult to sell and the other alternative (to scrap em) would've been a waste. At least we can make a few bob out of em though truth to tell.. we only have one active 300 pilot (Bob himself) and at best, 3 x 741' pilots.. Bob, me and a-n-other who was starting training flights.

Before you all get carried away by this VA business, can I quote Tonks - IT'S NOT REAL

Oh it's real alright and very close to real life. I put loads of hours in and don't get paid. At least on the VA I get virtual dosh

Anyway.. there she is..

I think I've finished it now.. all I need to do is work up the enthusiasm to earn a few virtual dollars! ;-)

That's very nice Dave....but I think there's a problem with the model or your alpha channel.........

.......I can't see the props :dunno:

You weren't here at the time.. you're current on big jets and with good luck, you'll be current on a Scarebus at some point in the future. There.. easy

In all honesty.. I knew we had these old birds kicking around on the VA (5 I think) and had forgotten all about them until someone posted that shot of the French registered RAF Scarebus. OK.. the link is tenuous but it can be made more solid if you try hard enough ;-)

Unfortunately, the panel in that model is 'half' glass until I can find a replacement :)

Yes Derek.. the alpha is WELL knackered. There are blades but far too many of em

BG's panel's are up thier with the best (he did the S-210's as well)

its all clockwork...just how i like my panels
