Cheers Rob....

Bit disappointed with the Bucc from UKmil as this was touted with SP2 compatibility but only had .BMP files....so not a true FSX bird :worried:

Look forward to this with interest.... ;-)

This is being built using the FSX SDK so if all goes well it'll be the 'real deal'.

Sorry Brian, a bit technical for me there! Where do you mean? The base of the 'cone' in idiot terms?

That cone could just be lighting

In FS, some things that would be in shadow real word, stay in full light :-(

I don't know how much FS.X has improved on that score

This can lead to a problem like this.....the shadow would cut it off near the actual base of the cone and if it did it would look right.

I have that problem with the Britannia where the prop sits on a cone much like that but with a flat top. Texturing is about the only way out of it.

Just a thought :dunno:

Sorry to do this again, but what mark is this supposed to be? :-#

The fin, wing, guns and missiles don't add up to ANY Lightning variant.

I personally think the nose cone looks fine.

Think nose-cone is just deceptive on certain angles as it's (or appears to be?) untextured at the moment. Does look a tad wide or short in length in a couple of piccys - but fine in others! - reckon could be fine when textured! :flying:
But looking very good - Any VC piccys yet!? :dancer:

It's work-in-progress of the F3 variant.
