There is a revised FDE set out today at Flightsim. Also, if you do a search of the Outhouse addons section, looking for sounds by Lawdog, you will find a nice set for the DB-606 which powered the early models of the 177 but is, as they say, close enough for government work.

SteveB, who has recently produced some nice repaints for the A/S Heinkel and Helix, is working on some repaints for this Heinkel.

Kazunori sent me via email last night a revised He177 with a new flight model. Not had the time to test it yet.

I am now in possession of a scanner, so sending photos and plans should be a lot easier. Two went off last night.......

He's a little tinker!

Martin, if he ever needs details for a particular project I'm more than willing to help out if I can; I'm sure that goes for others around these parts.

Thanks, I'll appreciate it. I may have a largish library of books and photos, but I dont have everything and I know people such as yourself have been helpful in the past. If I get stuck I know where to come first!!

Martin, can I suggest that you invite Kazunori over here? I am sure he will find all the reference he needs for any future British projects he may have planned. His models are indeed improving an awful lot now too!

Reinforcing what Trev has said, his models are now pretty impressive and always generate lot's of discussion; the threads both here, and at the Outhouse, about the He 177 prove that. Sometimes the only thing that lets him down seems to be his source material, resulting in the odd howler, such as the incorrect cannon on the recent Me 410 (which he corrected) and the well modelled Fireflash missiles which ruined (for me) an otherwise very nice Swift FR5 - that is a good case in point, as I'm sure we could provide him with information to update the Swift into an F7, a proper FR5 and even the earlier versions. :prayer:

I noticed an FD patch available for it on Allnodes last night. Not downloaded it though :)
