Mad Dog MD80 for FS2004 - £9.99

Post by crisso »

Went into PC World lunchtime and saw an apparently re-packaged (along with some other Lago products) Mad Dog MD80 for FS2004 - £9.99.

Despite looking similar to the Samuli freeware version, it does include an FMC so, maybe a good investment.

Any opinions out there whether to buy or not?

it looks really good:

i think i'd prefer flight one's with the inbuilt 'training' - but for 9.99 this looks good value.

I took the plunge - bought it and installed it. It is version 1.42 out of the box so, looks like I need to progressively upgrade thru 1.50 to 1.51.

It does include a FMC as well as other comprehensive features so, seems good value.

Hope to get to grips with it in the next week or so when I can find time!

hi airboatr, i did have that package installed a while back. it is good, but certainly doesn't have the depth or qaulity the payware one will have

thanks Hinch
I agree the Panel and clickable switches could be a bit
better, but the sound pack is real good IMHO
Over all not bad at all for the price..
I do like the MD's I live only about 3 miles or so from KPBI
(Palm Beach Int.)
some nights when the wind is right, I can hear them
I just love that sound.
thanks for the heads up.
