146 repaints

Post by TSR2 »

Another begging...

Anyone up for some repaints of JM's 146 200 in the original Jersey Europen colours, possible G-JEAX or JEAR (EAR was their first 146-200 I think)
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0041604/M/

Also MIMA in her full Manx livery

http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0763202/M/

And finally.. Loganair G-OLCA

http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0572064/M/

Would be much appreciated... p.s. I know its a bugger to paint, so pretty please.

Hi Ben,

Try this one of Manx G-MIMA at Flightsim.com

mxbae146.zip

It's an FS2k2 repaint but I think you'll find it should fit the FS9 model.

Also at Flightsim.com a repaint for the Eurowings model. It's British European (almost Jersey European  ) G-JEAW : 146_BE.ZIP

G-MIMA = G-CNMF (on fleet)
G-OCLA = G-JEAJ (on fleet)

Hi John..

Not so much a repaint question but can anyone out there fly this b1oody thing with any sort of confidence? A revised.. (read accurate) FD would be most appreciated. I've heard a lot about the JM model and well.. enough said :-#

Cheers John,

I have all of the current repaints for both models. The Manx one is MIMA just before she went to BA so not in the original livery, and thus a bit too modern for me.

Again, much as I like flying with FLYBE, I much prefer Jersey European, the original livery. My favourite has to be the Titan aircraft, closely followed by Dan Air, But I think the Loganair one should be represented as it was the first 146 into LCY.

No takers, but it was worth a go.

Hi Ben

JEA_1463.ZIP at Flightsim.com is of 200srs G-JEAJ wrongly painted onto the 300 srs model. JEA had 300's G-JEBC/D/E and G-JEAM in full JEA colours, maybe someone could fix the reg's on the 'AJ paint for us?

I've put ML's panel on the Eurowings model, the the FD is much better on the eurowings one. A point to note is, that although ML had a modified air file for Jon's models, it doesn't change the flight Dynamics at all (As mentioned in his PDF)

James,

If it had been on a 146-200, it would have been straightforward....

Well maybe not - the lettering would have been just as difficult anyway.

In progress and will be completed, in my own time. Got to sort out the tail and all that text at an angle
