Not sure if you know Jonesey, but the Rover V8 was sourced from Buick, hence why the the V8 engined version of the old Rover P5, was designated P5B (B for Buick). However, our American friends didnt devise the engine either. In a twist of irony, they nicked it off BMW after WWII. To the victors go the spoils, or something like that :smile: Wouldnt surprise me if it turned out to have been designed by Bernd Pichetsrieder's grandad :lol: That would explain a few things :lol:

I did know, allthough I didnt know about the later.
