Hi Paul

Have you put the smoke effects file in the main effects folder?

vc10 smoke

I have now. It was in the DMFS Shared files folder. For 6 months or more my VC10s have been environmentally friendly - what a waste!

While I'm here - how can I get my stairs to work?

Thanks Garry.

I think that's

engines off
lights off
brakes on
doors open

I think the barakes on will make them actually appear when the doors open.

One thing many miss

On the airliner version tailhook make the fifth spare engine in a carry pod beneath the wing appear.

I think for stairs you need to open doors & put the parking brake on. It's been a long time since I used them.

There's a couple of pages on my website that have some useful info.

I find the 10 only pumps out noticable smoke when thottles are set to 75% and above. Hence even more realistic!
