Water injection  I've only just dared use the 4th engine.. no more please!!
HS never designed the Trident's FL100 lamp with FlyNET in mind. 9980 till the first flash means you've already been Tangoed!! Reading 'ZO's Flight Manual, it should flash as it passes through 10,000ft unlike the Vanguard's indicator which has an overlap. Pity

Ben..
Wrong Dave I know but my best guess here is no they're not. I see improvements over the original version and DM said he's not releasing the new bits until Monday. That said, he might have uploaded them already and I may once again be talking out of my proverbial!!

I've not put any updates on my website yet.Am I right in thinking the updates at the top of the thread are the same as the ones now on your site?
Unless a kind hearted hacker has done it for me.

Peter there's three possibilities why you may not remember water injection.
1) It was positioned over the P2's head & you never looked over there (not likely)
2) The Trident at London Colney has a fake Water Injection unit (fairly likely)
3) The Chinese had it on theirs (most likely)
Just a brief scan through some pictures has turned up a spec for a T2 & it says the engines are 512-5W. 'W' designates water injection. It says it's a CAAC machine though.
The Water injection unit has always been there on the VC. I'd only just put Water Injection in the 1-11, so activated it on the Trident too.
You do have to switch it on for it to do anything, so it's easy enough to ignore if it's not standard fit for BEA/BA.
Doesn't do a great deal in the model anyway, just knocks a bit off the engine temp.

DM,
Theres another ex-Trident pilot who is on my forum who seems to be very knowledgable about all the different Spey variants and where they were installed, perhaps if I put you in touch with him then we can figure out which ones had it. Certainly off the top of my head I couldnt say yea or nay!

..Just tried the new stall system. The sound compares with with the demonstration of G-AWZI's systems in the Discovery Wings program though I seem to recall it being more dramatic (in terms of volume and illuminations) when experiencing it first hand in the cockpit  One thing that could be added (dont know if this is possible) but the handle at the rear of the centre console is the override for the stall recovery system, i.e. if you could click on it it should inhibit the stick shake and stick push. However in the normal VC position its "out of view" and I doubt anyone would have the need (or the time given the situation) to relocate themselves within the VC to operate it!

It would seem the W is wet for sure
On the One-Elevens they had water and their Speys are W, but the BEA Super One-Elevens did not have water injection and their Speys do not have the W.
Can't see it being different on the Trident.
