BEA early Red Squre Viscout...4 pics

Post by Garry Russell »

At first BEA Red Square featured a polish metal underside and fin tip registration that was hard to read on all types except the Viscount which was just about impossible.

Later versions had grey undersides and either tail or rear fuse registrations after BEA was told to make them bigger.

This is the early version and G-AOYT makes an appearance in the livery. This was one of a handful of 806 sold abroad when BEA passed the bulk of the 806 to Cambrian and BKS.

Others that went away were G-AOYK,G-APJU,G-APKF and G-APOX
