New Pilot??

Post by DaveB »

John..

I've had trouble getting into FlyNET after landing at Le Bourget (Hi DM!!) and while checking our flights, I notice we have a new pilot called Serdar something or other. He's currently in Honolulu and is type rated on an aircraft we don't currently run.. the Skyliner

He's last on the list.. you can't miss him

Looks like he transferred over from Lief's Venture Hawaii. They operate the Skyliner and are in Honolulu.

Thanks Guy's

We hope that in the fulness of time (or should that be fullness?), we'll get a formal introduction and he'll buy a ticket to blighty  John has already sent the 'usual' introductory email so we'll have to wait and see.

Just to clear things up, I think his location is co-incidental . From his 'logbook' he's only done one flight in a Cessna that was flown for his VA which was called 'Skyliner'. He was CEO as his pilot ID shows SKY101. Skyliner is not listed in the VA's so my guess is he quickly wound it up to join an established VA.

Not one of ours guys - so not sure how he would be typed in the Transit as
the only VA that operates them at present is Venture and I dont see any changes

Interesting read.

And Hi Dave.
I'm not going to be rushing back to Le Bourget - terrible frame rates.
Just off up to Brum now.

That's odd DM  Do you have any addon scenery for that area?? I only suffer two airports that give me a kick in the gonads.. Heathrow (where I'm currently based) and Manchester :dunno:  Manchester to Heathrow.. I get it both ends plus today, an engine failure too! Bad route that one.. very bad route!!

edit.. I wonder if it's your Trident giving you the stutters?? The Vanguard and Comet (the Viking too for that matter.. oh, and the Ambassador) all give good FR's!
