Name Badges

Post by Nigel H-J »

Not really sure of where to put this and if any Moderator thinks it should go elsewhere then please feel free to do so.

having read the Post from Chris Sykes Re: 'Janes Getting Her Tail Up' he went on to describe what he would be wearing so that any-one from the Forum at East Kirkby, may be able to pick him out from the crowds.

I too have been to airshows and events knowing that other members have been present but, in reality, you just can't walk up to the first person you see and ask if they happen to be a member of this Forum can you!!

Came up with an idea and design should anyone consider it worth following through. (It would be of plastic design with a securing pin on the back the type one would wear at work or attending presentations) providing that both Daves, Gary, Rick and everyone else involved with the C.B.F.S. trademark agrees.

Equally, this would also require some-one who may have a contact or in the know of where these could be produced and/or ordered from on demand even an additional charge could be added so that C.B.F.S. is benefitted in some way.

This was just an idea..........depends really whether anyone would be interested in buying and using one for recognition when attending events and airshows!!

At our flight sim day I was wearing my YHPG 'Helicopter Engineering' Name badge which was immediately noticed by another cbfs member.
It sounds like a good idea!

I wouldn't mind one - particularly if it looked like an RAF squadron shield. Now there's a thought... what would our moto be??

Name badges are a bit tricky as they are one off's. We had toyed with the idea of some CBFS T - shirts or polo shirts but never took it any further forward.

Personally I'd feel like a bit of a tit wondering about with my name pinned to me, not so if it was just a logo.

Just my tuppence worth

Personally I would not want to wear such a thing

Just my opinion

Just a quick reply as about to start work, I can see the point of not wanting names, should have thought of that myself. However, it was just an idea and again, I suppose it all depends on demand.
