Yes Dave that'll be too strong an alpha....or so it looks.

Also the base colour needs to me much darker as the alha lightens it somewhat.

Something that needs to be played with to get the right effect

Everyone starts somewhere, I know the junk I have uploaded is not the brightest work.

I do not have PSP only use freeware paint progs and I do what I do for my pleasure if anyone else wants to use it OK.

My greatest encouragement comes from well known painters and with the encouragement compliments are attatched.

So Chris I would say do it your way I will certainly get it when it is released.

Shakes his head and wanders off swearing never to do another paint after the current work is done.

Chris forgot to say I have the DSB Bucc and would be happy to try you textures. How do I get them.

quote="phantom_fgr2"]call this positive but constructive critisism but i think all you've done is spray a load of (the wrong) green over the default dark sea grey that came with the DSB Bucc (as it was in a navy colour scheme). and judging by this something tells me you are using FSRepaint to do your aircraft. try using a paintkit and put some rivets and panel detail on it, or how about some exhaust dirt, and maybe create an alpha channel to represent reflective paint?[/u][/quote]

Along with sister ships XZ430 and XZ431, it was delivered new in 1977
to RAF Germany, this would have been either 15 (XV) or 16 Sqn

http://dnausers.d-n-a.net/dnetrAzQ/Buccaneer.doc

However after the 'Red Flag' crash, and consequent grounding of the Buccs for work on the rib-interspar 80 area of the wings, they were re-allocated to get the squadrons up and flying again quickly.

It would not be wrong to think it finished its' days, as one of the youngsters in the fleet at, 208 at Lossiemouth.

Chris, I have had your Bucc paint all day and apart from the symetrical cam which you already now about can find nothing wrong with it, the panel lines/rivets are there and nicely blended.

I am no expert but I think you have done well.
