Love the first shot.
The second looks a little more than 'wet', nearer to 'flood'.
My favourite livery worn by the Trident.

Cheers

Agree with that Kevin. Rain doesn't usually come deep enough for ripples to form!!

Smashing shots showing what a fine looking aircraft the Trident was and what a fine model the Trident is

Great pics Peter. I agree with the others about the ripples in the water. What struck me was that with all that water and the rain coming down so hard we don't see any water drop splashes.

Whoa! That first pic is very impressive! Looked allmost like an old photo or painting.
Terrain textures look a bit naff though.

I think that may be a little taxing for even today's computers.
What would be impressive, is if spray were to be generated on rotation, as jet exhaust hits a wet runnway.

Yes, that will be very impressive especially reverse thrust hitting the runway under the engines...This will be very easy for the effects artists to write and apply to the Aircraft.cfg file after release

Cheers Peter

These are the type of effects I was expecting in FSX. Would also love to see the ability to declare a 'mayday'.

Thanks again

Like the effects that have been in X-Plane for years?

Another good reason why I won't be buying the joke that is FSX.
