Neither this nor the Islander were IMHO all that nice to fly...however, as is the case with a lot of things in FS, one believes that one can be an ace F-4 Phantom pilot on Tuesday, a Trident Captain on Wednesday and a Trislander pilot on Thursday, so may be with some more flying hours....

Visually I think its pretty good... a bit better than the ones that were around for FS2000/FS2002 and a quantum leap over teh one I made for FS98/FS2000  :worried:

Yes Dave

I find it a little hard to trim but it is superb to look at and easy to land etc..

The only problem I have is blocks appearing on the Trislander instead of pax and two sets of dials on the VC superimposed.......This was OK on an earlier installation and is OK on the Islander so I think I have corrupted it.

The pax is a dial on the dash you can dial in the number of pax up to nine and you get them in seats with a young lady beside you.

The sounds are superb and when you bring the props back after take off and throttle back it is amazing the sound you get. :tunes:

A really worthwhile model to have.

Thanks for that guys

It certainly looks very impressive but oddly enough, I've never downloaded either  That MAY change though

M-R-Software is marcel kunts website, where you can download his islander trislander aircraft, but if you do then read the instructions very carfully,as they are a bit tricky to load into fs9.
the islanders have never given me any cause for concerns, and once i had modied the aircraft.cfg file on the trislander, then this aircraft became a little jem to fly, except on a couple of my addon airports.
both airports are by just flight, the one i can think of is norwich,on one of the runways,it makes the trisland bounce a bit, without my mods, she will self distruct.
also i took a look on avsims website, and there seems to be a few good repaints of both aircraft.
regards alan.

She's great too for the trip to Le-Touquet when you've only got time for a quick hop.

I reckon she flies pretty well, and you get the real feeling that your butt is not far from getting gravel burn on take-off or landing, and the sounds as mentioned are superb.

Here is 'Delta Papa' lined up on 04, which should be 03 I believe these days. Dungeness looming large.

You might find the link to Marcel's website usefull:- http://www.m-r-software.de/

These are 'gems' that seem to have been overlooked by some - a pity he hasn't gone on to complete the whole set i.e. Turbine Islander and Defender- they are excellent models.

He's done the BN-2T - isn't that the turbine Islander?
