No one has made a "Mr Mulligan" since FS98!! Very sad!! One of the
great planes of all time!! And it lives just down the road from us!!
Other than not being able to see any thing while taxing, it is not
a hard aircraft to fly!! Power is not a problem!!

Bill Lyons cub is about as good a trainer as you can get, learn
tail dragging first, then the rest is easy!!

Hah! Sounds like you're looking for a challenge, DanDanKH wrote:Ian: Just for the sport of it, which airport in your vicinity is capable of retrieving an DC-8 ?

I'm about 15 miles ESE of Bristol (EGGD) and about the same distance SW of Lyneham AFB (EGDL). Bristol's only runway is 6,500 ft. But you have to use a proper DC8 and not one of those truncated short*rse things

This is Bristol. (Note the advice in the bottom left in case you run into trouble

Kimber - that looks great! I have nothing but admiration for you, learning to fly in that. What a great achievement. However, I can't see my friend even getting to the runway in a virtual one of those. I certainly haven't got the patience to watch him! We'll leave it to the experts such as yourself
