FSDSv3 Question.

Post by Dyl Roberts »

Hey Guy's,

This question is aimed at Brian or Rick....

I'm currently working on My Slingsby Firefly model, & have got to the point that I now want to cut out ailerons & flaps on both wings.

I've read the FSDS help tutorials, but cant fine the ds_flapcutout.cdt template tool. Without this tool, I can't cut out my ailerons. I have taken the original project wings & formed them to the shape of the Firefly wings, & resized the flaps, they look good, but I cant get the ailerons sorted now to compliment the rest of the wing.

Any help would be appreciated,

Cheers....

Dyl,

Good to see you back on the Firefly. The panel and gauges are ready and waiting so let me know when you need them for the VC!

Hi Jim,

Just found a bit of time to keep the project running untill winter sets in & PC time increases.... I'm still very much trying to get the fuse shape correct, but it's proving to be a tricky little bu**er to get right......

I've got the wings shaped just right, just need to get the ailerons sorted now!! Then the back end will need all the attention..... :worried:

I must admit, it is a rewarding job, even with the little I've done with this project, but every little helps.... as Tesco say......

I'm using the current problem down time to make the front & rear Undercaridge.
