I have noticed one problem with the existing carriers (ARK and Hermes) in that if I modify the AFCAD the helo's land below the deck... i.e. the afcad layer seems to sink to the base of the ship, even if the runway etc is set to the corect hieght. Any ideas on where I'm going wrong?

Isn't afcad great lol.........how exactly are you modifying those afcads ? I know it can be like a real puzzle sometimes.
The AI have to recognize the runway, as i'm sure you know, do you have flatten files under those carriers ? that could also cause an issue sometimes.

I was being a tit.... again! The af2 file for the carriers must go in the same location as the scenery folder with the other blg's in it. I have all my AF2's in the addon scennery / scenery folder. When I moved it back to the HMS Hermes / scenery folder all is fine
